TALIS Group, held by Triton, focuses business portfolio as part of realignment and sells Atlantic Plastics (TALIS UK) to AVK
TALIS Group, a Triton investment and the world’s leading supplier of high-quality valves, hydrants and other solutions for irrigation, fire protection, potable water supply and wastewater applications, has sold FRISCHHUT Group, STRATE and the house connection business of Atlantic Plastics (TALIS UK). As part of the realignment of the TALIS Group’s business portfolio, the divisions were no longer part of the core business. These divestments represent another important step for the TALIS Group to simplify and realign its business portfolio in order to focus on its core business and increase customer satisfaction.
Atlantic Plastics, formerly TALIS UK, is the undisputed market leader for house connection solutions in the UK and Ireland and also operates in several key markets around the world. The product portfolio includes meter boxes, gunmetal and plastic fittings, among others. By acquiring the business, AVK Group (DK), a leading global designer and manufacturer of valves, hydrants and accessories for water and gas distribution, wastewater treatment and fire protection, further expands its already strong market position in the UK. The valves business will remain in the portfolio of the TALIS Group.
