ConsusPartner created an integrated

planning and reporting tool

for Sodawerk Staßfurt and advised the company on renegotiating components of its existing

bank financing

. Sodawerk Staßfurt is a leading producer of soda with consolidated sales of over EUR 100 million and a subsidiary of the Ciech Group, which is listed on the Polish stock exchange.

The previously existing system no longer met the requirements of the various parties (company, shareholders/supervisory board and banks). A

lack of integrated figures

as well as high requirements for the reconciliation from

German GAAP to IFRS

led to a high susceptibility to errors. In addition, the preparation of the monthly reporting was too time-consuming.

With the new planning and reporting tool, the figures are processed mainly

automatically and without media discontinuity

. Specifically

defined reporting packages

in different languages are made available to the various recipient groups. The

integrated scenario tool

enables management to run through various planning assumptions, e.g. during strategy or bank meetings.
