TALIS Group, held by Triton, focuses business portfolio as part of realignment and sells Frischhut to Tiroler Rohre.
TALIS Group, a Triton investment and the world’s leading supplier of high-quality valves, hydrants and other solutions for irrigation, fire protection, potable water supply and wastewater applications, has sold FRISCHHUT Group, STRATE and the house connection business of Atlantic Plastics (TALIS UK). As part of the realignment of the TALIS Group’s business portfolio, the divisions were no longer part of the core business. These divestments represent another important step for the TALIS Group to simplify and realign its business portfolio in order to focus on its core business and increase customer satisfaction.
The FRISCHHUT Group is one of the leading manufacturers of molded parts as well as special castings for mechanical and plant engineering. The high-quality products manufactured in the company’s own foundry are mainly used as connectors for pipelines in drinking water supply and distribution. By acquiring the company, Tiroler Rohre (AT), a developer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality ductile iron casting systems for water transport and deep foundation of structures, strengthens its market position as an overall supplier and secures unique manufacturing know-how.
