NOVUM – Der Bio-Lieferservice acquires Gesund & Munter Frischekiste to strengthen its presence in the Rhine-Main region
NOVUM – Der Bio-Lieferservice is a leading organic delivery service in the Rhine-Main area that has been supplying businesses and private households within a 70 km radius of Mainz-Bischofsheim and parts of North Rhine-Westphalia for 20 years using a subscription model with fixed delivery rhythms.
NOVUM grew strongly during the pandemic and, thanks to its successful logistics, was able to maintain its profitability even in the downturn of the organic food sector. This sets the company apart from both the mostly clearly unprofitable delivery services and the organic food sector as a whole.
Gesund & Munter Frischekiste is a competitor of NOVUM, which also operates in the Rhine-Main area with a similar product portfolio. The acquisition will enable NOVUM to further expand its already good positioning in the Rhine-Main region in order to continue its strong growth course of recent years.
