Leadec sells product engineering and prototyping at its Chemnitz site

Industrial service provider Leadec, a company owned by international investment firm Triton, has sold its product engineering and prototyping divisions at its Chemnitz site. Both divisions occupy leading market positions in their niches, but were no longer part of the company's core business. The sale is part of Leadec's strategy to focus more strongly on selected service lines and expand them globally. In future, the technical services business will be organised into four clusters: Install, Maintain, Support and Digitise & Optimise.

Leadec has found ideal buyers in the Hörmann Group for product engineering and the ROBUR Group for prototyping. The new owners, for whom the acquisition of employees and expertise was an important prerequisite, offer both divisions better development opportunities.

ConsusPartner provided Leadec with exclusive advice throughout the entire sales process.
