Triumph sells Dorina brand to Hop Lun Group

Triumph International, one of the world's largest manufacturers of bras and underwear, has sold its value-segment brand DORINA to Hop Lun, a Hong Kong-based lingerie group.

The DORINA brand, with around 40 employees in Munich and Heubach, has been selling women's lingerie for over 45 years, primarily in the self-service channel. In addition to Germany, the brand is also very successful in several other European markets.

With the sale of DORINA, Triumph is continuing to restructure its brand portfolio in order to focus primarily on its main international brands, Triumph and sloggi, in the future. The acquisition gives Hop Lun a successful addition to its existing brands Scandale, Marie Meili and 6ixty8ight in Germany and Europe, as well as even better access to the international department store and supermarket segment.

ConsusPartner provided comprehensive advice to Triumph on this carve-out and M&A project and identified the buyer. In the coming months, we will provide selective support for the transition to the buyer. This reflects our consulting approach of supporting our clients not only with the transaction itself, but also with the preparatory value enhancement and subsequent integration.
