AVENTICS sells its inverted tooth chain division to Renold

AVENTICS GmbH, a company of the private equity fund Triton, has sold its inverted tooth chain division as part of an asset deal. Inverted tooth chains are used in drive and transport systems, e.g. in vehicle and glass production. Despite its leading global market position in this niche, AVENTICS has sold the business in order to focus on its core pneumatics business.

AVENTICS has found an ideal buyer in Renold plc from England, one of the world market leaders in the manufacture of chains and chain drives. The new owner, for whom the takeover of all employees was an important prerequisite, offers the division with its plant in Gronau (Leine) better development opportunities.
