Consolidation of airport service providers
The shareholders of AHS Aviation Handling Services GmbH, the leading provider of passenger handling and other services at major German airports, are selling their shares to the group of companies owned by Swiss entrepreneur Dieter Streuli. Dieter Streuli operates via the AAS Group in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, primarily in ground handling services requiring a licence and those not requiring a licence.
With a turnover of EUR 80 million, the AHS Group is one of the market leaders in its segment in Germany. The merger with the Zurich-based AAS Group creates a leading European provider of passenger, baggage and aircraft handling services.
